"Dining at Tenda Rossa Firenze is always a pleasure, but the pollo con tartufo bianco truly stands out as an exceptional dish. The chicken is beautifully tender, cooked to perfection, and elevated by the rich aroma of fresh white truffle. The prosciutto rolls are another highlight, simple yet elegant. The prosciutto is delicately sliced, with just the right amount of saltiness, wrapped around a filling that adds freshness and texture. Together, they make a memorable appetizer that pairs wonderfully with a glass of white wine. Overall, Tenda Rossa delivers a sophisticated dining experience with dishes that are both thoughtfully crafted and deeply satisfying. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Florentine cuisine."

"From the moment we walked in we were treated like old friends, if I could give the service more than 5* then I would. It's not the usual thing for Brits to be welcomed as warmly here as if we were Florentine locals but the whole team were amazing. We had two dinners here whilst visiting the city and both were exceptional. The steak was probably the best I've ever had in my life and the truffle pasta was delicious. Thank you for the food and hospitality!"

"I came into Florence on a one-night pass for work — tight window, zero margin, running on jet lag and pressure. I’m a Chief Officer on a high-profile 70m superyacht, and when I say standards matter, I mean they matter. What I experienced here didn’t just meet the bar — it obliterated it. This was Florence in its purest form: generous, soulful, confident, and completely unpretentious in its excellence. The ossobuco was a masterclass — slow, reverent, falling apart in a way that only comes from patience and respect for the animal. Deep, rich, honest food that doesn’t need theatrics because it knows exactly what it is. Paired with Sangiovese and a Brunello di Montalcino that was poured not to impress, but to welcome — balanced, expressive, and chosen with real intention. And then there was the pasta. Handmade, unmistakably so. You could taste the hands, the years, the muscle memory behind it. This is the kind of food that reminds you why Italy doesn’t need trends — it is the standard. What truly elevated the night, though, were Andrea and Snoopy — not just servers, not just sommeliers, but hosts in the deepest Tuscan sense of the word. Their wine knowledge was surgical yet warm. No ego, no upsell, no script — just reading the table, reading the moment, and bringing exactly what belonged there. Within minutes, I wasn’t a traveler passing through — I was treated like family. There’s a rare generosity here that can’t be trained. It’s cultural. It’s Florentine. The kind that says: Sit. Eat. Drink. You’re safe here. I’ve eaten all over the world — Michelin rooms, crew messes, street stalls at 2 a.m. This night in Florence stands tall among them, not because it tried to be unforgettable, but because it was. If you want a place that feeds you, this is it. If you want a place that reminds you why food matters — this is non-negotiable. I came in exhausted. I left full, grounded, and grateful. That’s five stars without hesitation — and then some."

"We had the best time at La Tenda Rossa. We had recommendations for going and decided to go for it! We had such a warm welcome and Snoopi, Jenny, Ray and the guys were so fun- totally made our visit worth it! And the food and wine were genuinely excellent- the tiramisu was one of the best I’ve ever had. We also were looking for places where it wasn’t super tourist-y to get an authentic Tuscan vibe, and we weren’t disappointed. There were lots of locals in and the ambience was amazing- candlelit and chill. Really amazing experience- would highly recommend!"

"This was by far the best meal I had in Italy! Everything was absolutely delicious, from the starters to the dessert. I actually made a small mistake with my order—I meant to order the Grilled Beef Fillet (Filetto di Manzo alla Griglia) but accidentally chose the Pork Fillet with Vin Santo (Filetto di Maiale al Vin Santo) instead. But it turned out to be a happy accident! The pork was equally delicious, and I enjoyed it just as much. I especially appreciated the warm and attentive service from our waiter, Snoopy – he made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Grazie mille for a wonderful evening! I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area."

"Service is worth more than just 5 stars! We were asked to wait for a table with complimentary champagne as we had no reservation. Incredible service: the waiter and the owner were both lovely. “Snoopy” was our waiter and he is the best: very kind, helpful and friendly. Amazing place, people and food. The tiramisu was.. to die for! They also gave us one round of shots on the house."

"We were in Firenze for a family vacation and looking for a place to get a Florentine Steak. Some local blogs recommended La Tenda Rossa. It did not disappoint. Best steak of my life and the pasta was perfect. The waitstaff was very attentive and accommodating. Snoopy, as they call him, was great. Man deserves a raise! 10/10 would go back in a heartbeat! It was so good we came back for lunch the next day."
